The Student Services and Retention Coordinator works closely with all campus departments to support student success and persistence endeavours. Responsibilities include working with current students who have expressed an interest in withdrawing to remain in school; encouraging students who have withdrawn to return; assisting students in preparing for successful re-entry that will maximize the student's chances of completing University Canada West programs; and serving as the liaison between the re-entering student and the various departments involved in the re-entry process.
The position supports domestic, international, on-line, and in-class students from orientation through graduation. Duties include the development of strategies to engage students within and outside of their direct studies and enhance student satisfaction and retention.
